CODE OF CONDUCT
CTJ events are designed to be socially, emotionally and legally safe. To this end, every member agrees to understand, observe and maintain these rules. Because we value the club, and because we all understand that these rules make this unique experience possible, we are largely self-policing, though club volunteers are empowered to enforce the rules and intervene when necessary.
1. JO ONLY
Like all true jack-off clubs, sexual activity is strictly limited to masturbation and mutual masturbation. Anal sex is never permitted at CTJ events. There is no oral sex or no anal contact. Never try and touch, docking, frotting or anything without consent - always ask.
2. PERMITTED PLAY
-
Self-masturbation and consensual mutual masturbation
-
Erotic and friendly touch
-
Showing-off and watching (no touch)
-
Parallel penis-to-penis masturbation (“C2C”)
-
Frottage (rubbing bodies together)
-
Kissing, nipple nibbling, licking, sniffing and kissing of the body but no oral sex.
-
Masturbation toys like flesh jacks and cock pumps are allowed but MUST be clean and sanitary.
-
You are allowed self-ass play (finger yourself or use a dildo on yourself - no sharing of fingers or anal toys). After anal play with yourself, always clean your hands.
-
No rimming but feel free to hold and stroke another buddy's butt.
-
Sharing a cum-rag or coming on each other is allowed.
-
Ball play is fine but no sucking on a buddy's balls is fine.
7. DISCRETION & ANONYMITY
Never, at any time, disclose any member’s identity to anyone, either inside the club or out. Ever. What you do here, whom you see here, stays here. Violation of any member’s identity is grounds for being asked to leave the event and group. Be aware that you might meet a friend, co-worker or even family member in the digital space or physical space.
8. ILLNESS
Do not attend a CTJ event if you have or suspect that you may have a disease you can spread to other members in the course of an event. This includes common colds and flu, herpes outbreaks and staph infections. HIV is not considered communicable in the context of club activities (depending on the play you partake in). HIV-positive men are welcome to join the club and participate in events in accordance with our rules, as there is no evidence of transmission of the virus through mutual masturbation. We recommend all HIV-negative men to consider taking prep medication regardless of the level of play, this way you have peace of mind that you and the guys you play with are safe.
For more sexual health info we recommend visiting Ivan Toms Men's Clinic.
In the event that you do have an STD infection after an event, please inform the community admin via your dr. to protect your privacy but also so that the community can be informed - things happen but it's how we react to it that makes the difference. No judgment.
3. PROHIBITED PLAY
-
No insertion into others (nothing goes inside other peoples anything - you can not finger a buddy or put a dildo from your ass, up his ass)
-
No anal - dick in ass.
-
No rimming/ass eating.
-
No cock sucking or ball to mouth.
-
If you don’t have consent, you may not touch another member.
-
If another member tells you to back away or stop something, listen and do it or you will be asked to leave.
9. ALCOHOL OR DRUGs?
Never bring recreational drugs of any kind to CTJ events, and do not arrive at events intoxicated. Intoxicated members will not be admitted or may be ejected from events. Problem behaviour will result in termination of membership. All group jack-off events hosted by Cape Town Jacks are drug-free. “Poppers” are only permitted at specific event venus and if members around consent. Poppers affect men differently so respect men around if they ask that you do not use poppers at the events.
Welcome to bring alcohol to events or purchase alcohol at venues that sell but DO NOT get drunk. CTJ has a low drunk tolerance.
4. NUDITY
Minimum participation is stripping to a single article of underwear, a jock or a T-shirt. Hats and fetish wear and gear are always permitted, and some themes will invite specific clothing. Never wear anything that might tear or cut skin.
10. PERSONAL HYGIENE
Your body and hands should be clean when you attend a CTJ event, with teeth brushed and fingernails trimmed short and smooth. Take care of bad breath and excessive body odour before entering the play space, this includes the smell of smoke (cigarette and weed). The event provides hand soap at all events as well as antibacterial moist wipes. Start every event with a trip to the washroom to wash your hands and use mouthwash, whether you think you need it or not. Do not wear overwhelmingly strong fragrances to CTJ events.
5. EJACULATION
-
Warn verbally before you ejaculate. Don’t just breathe heavily. Say it out loud with words.
-
Ejaculate on yourself, the floor or any designated surface.
-
Explicit, mutual consent is required before ejaculating on others.
-
Always thoroughly wipe up semen from the floor and services - clean your own mess.
-
Never deliberately allow semen on anyone’s face or anus.
-
Avoid aggressive or prolonged urethra play.
11. TALKING
Excessive chatter is discouraged during events. Quiet talk is okay, and hot talk is welcome at any volume. “Conversation” is another matter. Be friendly and sociable, but don’t distract others in the playspace. If you’re asked to lower your voice, do so.
You are welcome to talk to fellow members about sex play that is not permitted in CTJ events. For example, while oral and anal sex are never permitted in the club, you can talk about it during the event as long as your fellow members don’t mind. Be yourself.
6. EXPLICIT CONSENT & MUTUAL RESPECT
Consent is required before touching another member’s penis. This also applies to kissing. Remember: every person is in charge of their body. You own your body as does every other member you encounter in the playspace. Always ask before touching someone who hasn’t given consent. Be prepared to say “no” and always take “no” for an answer. Never press the issue. We treat each other with mutual respect and human dignity, like brothers.
12. SILICONE WRIST BANDS
Wrist bands are offered at all events as an option for any member to use if he chooses.
Red: “Don’t touch my dick or body”
Yellow: "Ask me before doing anything."
Green: “You may touch my dick or body without asking first but I can still say ask to stop."
Blue: Community Volunteer/Admin
This consent shortcut must be 100% honoured by every member at all times during every CTJ event.
Members are allowed to switch wristbands during the event depending on how they feel.

Silicone bands are available at all events and can be found on the central lube station table. Please wash/sanitise and return the bands after the event.,
